There is a close link between the hope of a people and harmony between the generations. The joy of children makes their parents’ hearts leap and opens up the future. Children are the joy of the family and of society. They are not matter of reproductive biology, or one of the many ways of producing them, much less their parents’ possession. Children are a gift. They are a gift….

Childhood is the common ground among all of us. And there is and uniting childhood theme - the ability to imagine and the capacity to play.

There is a good reason why they say that childhood is the best time in a person’s life. It is something exceptionally simple, yet absolutely beautiful.

But when a child is burdened by the daily pains of hunger and poverty, they can think of little else than how hungry they are. And, nevertheless for those kids, the smallest of things can give them immense pleasure.

I have tried to catch that happiness and the smile in their eyes even when that was sometimes extremely challenging for me.
